Ten people were killed in an attack by Islamists on a remote village in the state Borno Chibok in north-eastern Nigeria.
In the region there is a very strong presence of the radical Islamist group Boko Haram.
Presumably, Boko Haram militants carried out the attacks.
With firearms and machetes in hand they set fire to the homes of sleeping people and killed those who were luvky enough to escape their burning homes.
According to witness statements only Christians were being attacked.
