By Albany Tribune -- (August 9, 2011)
The August 13th car seat clinic hosted by Albany Fire Department has been cancelled. The next clinic will be held on September 24th and the location of the clinic will be announced by September 5th.
If you live in Linn County and have a car seat and need it installed properly, or have a seat already installed and want to be sure it is in correctly, you are invited to attend this free event.
Free convertible and booster seats also are donated by Albany Fire Department and are limited to one per child per family per year.
Unless expecting, parents/caregivers must bring their child with them to the event to qualify for a free seat.
Please bring the car seat and vehicle manuals with you, and, if Spanish speaking, an interpreter is helpful. If you have any questions, feel call 541-917-7732.
