Don’t Worry – It’s Just A Drill, Says Albany Fire Department

It may look like the rescue of someone that jumped off the bridge but it is Albany Fire Department training to serve you better.
On December 13th beginning at 10:00am one lane of the Lyon Street Bridge will be closed so that Albany Fire Department can train using the support structures of the bridge.
The bridge will be closed for about an hour.
If you happen to be in the area you will probably see our personnel on the bridge and you may also see our boats and personnel in the water, the Fire Department said.
