Woman Dies Of Hypothermia In North Portland’s Piedmont Neighborhood‏

the Oregon State Medical Examiner concluded Tuesday that the woman found deceased yesterday in North Portland’s Peninsula Park died of hypothermia.

Detectives learned that 63-year-old Wendy Marie Loren lived at a residence in the 4600 block of North Michigan Avenue and may have wandered away from home not properly dressed for the cold weather.

Detectives believe that Ms. Loren either got confused or got lost wandering in the neighborhood and ultimately ended up in Peninsula Park.

No foul play is suspected in her death.
