The Iranian government’s retaliation to threats and aggression by the Israeli military will be immediate and crushing, government-controlled IRNA news agency on Saturday.
Iranian officials are telling the Iranian people that the Israeli media is reporting stories regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu having decided to launch an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities in the Fall.
Talking to IRNA, Brigadier Gen. Amir-Ali Hajizadeh said “if the Zionists embark on practicing [sic] their threats, they will provide the best opportunity for the destruction of Israel.”

The commander said he believed “the threatening remarks made by the Zionist regime’s leaders ahead of the Non-Aligned Movement ( NAM) Summit in Tehran as well as ahead of the U.S. presidential elections are just more propaganda and psychological warfare,” according to the IRNA report.
Iran is under numerous Western pressure to halt its controversial nuclear program which the Islamic republic insists is “peaceful and civilian [in] nature.”
Western countries, including the United States, and Israel believe the Iranians are pushing for a nuclear program for weapons-grade uranium.
The United States and Israel have not ruled out the possibility if attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities, according to reports.
